In my quest for meaningful connections, I saw a glaring gap for women in male-dominated fields. As a screenwriter crafting empowering stories on screen, my own narrative lacked the authentic, enriching relationships vital for personal and professional growth. This realization led me to pursue a Masters in Business, Technology, and Design at USC, where the enormity of this issue became clear. Shocking statistics showed that achieving gender parity was on track to take 132 years, with women 28% less likely to have a robust network, despite 80% of job opportunities relying on it.
